Privacy policy
This policy explains what information SnapToSubmit collects when you use snaptosubmit.com, and why. Last updated 2 November 2026.
Your photos
Our photo tools run in your web browser. Your photos are processed on your device and are not uploaded to our servers, and we do not store them.
Information we do collect
- Purchases. Payments are handled by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record. It collects your name, email, payment details and country to process the payment, send your receipt and meet tax rules. We receive your email, what you bought and the amount, but never your card details.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to handle refunds.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
Third-party services
To run our tools in your browser, your device downloads code and a face-detection model from public content delivery networks (jsDelivr and Google). These services receive your IP address when they deliver the files, as with any website. They do not receive your photos.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and tools are used, such as page views, the country and device type, and when a tool download happens. It never receives your photos or the files you make. IP addresses are anonymised, and we do not use the data for advertising. If you are in the UK, EU or Switzerland, analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Microsoft Clarity. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use our pages, through heatmaps and anonymised replays of clicks and scrolling. Clarity masks text you type, and photo areas on our tool pages are hidden from it, so it never sees your photos. The same cookie choice applies: in the UK, EU and Switzerland, Clarity only sets cookies if you choose Accept. Microsoft processes this data under its privacy statement.
Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to load the tools above. It does not collect data by itself.
If we add advertising in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Cookies
We use Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years) and Microsoft Clarity cookies (named _clck and _clsk, kept for up to 1 year) to measure how the site is used. We don't use advertising cookies. We also store small settings in your browser, such as your sound and cookie choices; these are not sent to us. Our payment provider may use cookies that are needed to complete a purchase securely. To change your choice, use "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page.
How long we keep data
We keep order and support records for as long as needed for refunds, accounting and legal obligations, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email support@snaptosubmit.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
Our service is meant for adults. A parent or guardian should make photos for children.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
